The 2021 Organiser

Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG)
The Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG) is Austria’s national funding institution for applied research and development. It serves as a “one-stop shop” that offers a wide range of services for companies, research institutions, and researchers.
FFG’s Aeronautics and Space Agency connects these entities with the world of space at the European and international levels. It implements Austria’s space policy and represents the country on international space committees, including ESA boards.
The Austrian Space Applications Programme (ASAP) funds research on space science, technology, and applications.
Finally, FFG’s Copernicus contact point serves as the central interface between Austrian interests and European programmes while supporting Austria’s competencies in the field of satellite Earth observation and interacting with the Copernicus community.
