NEREUS and Mercator Ocean, together with the Azores Regional Government, are organizing an international conference on the island of Fayal (Azores, Portugal). The event is of interest to all maritime regions and is organized in two parts:

• challenges and expectations of public authorities on the potential of Copernicus for maritime authorities
• hands-on technical training sessions on specific themes chosen by participants via an online questionnaire made available during the registration process.
