ESA Phi Week Side Event – Towards Digital Twin Earth Innovation

ESA Digital Twin Earth @ Copernicus Masters 9:30-11:00 CEST

The objective of the event is to introduce the ESA initiative, Copernicus Masters to the community of the phi week. It shall increase awareness for the competition as well as promote the finalists of the ESA Digital Twin Earth Challenge 2020 and learn about their solutions in practice. The goal is to attract potential new partners and participants for the Copernicus Masters of ESA in the future.

The event “Towards Digital Twin Earth Innovation – ESA Digital Twin Earth @ Copernicus Masters” is dedicated to innovation in Digital Twin Earth coming from the ESA Digital Twin Earth Challenge in the Copernicus Masters. It is structured in three parts focusing on an introduction to the topic by Simon Jutz, Head of the Copernicus Space Office at ESA, followed by presentations of innovative Digital Twin Earth solutions by the finalists of the ESA Digital Twin Earth Challenge in Copernicus Masters 2020. The event concludes with an interview session with the finalists and ESA with the possibility for the audience to ask questions.
