Description of the 2020 Organiser
Visual Sweden
Visual Sweden is an innovation cluster in Östergötland, Sweden. The aim is to promote visualisation, image analysis innovation and regional growth. Major stakeholders are Linköping University, Region Östergötland, Linköping and Norrköping municipalities. Important ten-year funding (from 2016) has been granted by Vinnova, Sweden’s innovation authority.
The main body consists of 70 small and large-sized visualisation and image analysis enterprises. A large number of them have their roots in the advanced research environments in the region, such as the Visualization Center C, the centre for medical image science visualisation and the computer vision laboratory.
