Eligibility

To participate in those, any applicant must be a natural or a legal person of an EU Member State or European Economic Area (EEA), European Neighbouring Countries (ENP), South/East countries or other countries with which the EU has space dialogues and cooperation: USA, Canada, Latin America, Africa, Gulf Cooperation Countries, Kazahstan, Japan, Korea, Australia, New Zealand.

Ouest BIC Technopoles
Ouest BIC Technopoles is an association that gathers technopoles from the Brittany and Pays-de-la-Loire regions, including Technopôle Brest-Iroise and Atlanpole. It also manages the ESA BIC Nord France programme.

CNES (Centre National d’Etudes Spatiales)

CNES (Centre National d’Etudes Spatiales)
CNES is the public organisation responsible for elaborating and directing France’s space policy within Europe.
Based on its coverage of the entire spectrum of space technologies, it ensures independent access to space for both France and Europe at large. In 2019, CNES also launched Connect by CNES, an initiative in which it offers its expertise to companies (especially start-ups) to help them develop innovative products and services using space technologies and solutions.

ESA BIC Nord France
Created in 2018, ESA BIC Nord France is managed by Ouest BIC Technopoles in association with the ASTech Paris Region Cluster and the French Space Agency (CNES). The ESA BIC Nord France consortium includes incubation partners in six northern French regions. Together, they offer access to a dense network of partners covering a broad spectrum of industrial, technical, and financial skills. The objective is to promote the creation of companies based on the transfer of technologies from the space sector to other economic sectors, as well as on the development of services and applications derived from space technologies.

ESA BIC Sud France

Founded in 2013, ESA BIC Sud France is managed by Aerospace Valley in cooperation with the SAFE cluster and the French Space Agency (CNES). It operates on structures that support the creation of innovative companies with the help of ESTIA Entreprendre, Bordeaux Technowest, CEEI Theogone, Midi-Pyrénées Incubator, PACA-Est Incubator, and Montpellier Incubator. ESA BIC Sud France itself provides valuable tools to encourage entrepreneurs to promote and exploit existing space-related patents. At the core of its strong support structure are nine partners that have demonstrated sound judgement and experience in creating innovative businesses.

Aerospace Valley

Aerospace Valley
The Aerospace Valley cluster covers two regions of France: Nouvelle Aquitaine and Occitanie. It comprises 840 members from industry and research, including some 500 SMEs, large corporate groups, aerospace research establishments, engineering schools, and local authorities. The purpose of Aerospace Valley is to leverage the competitiveness and visibility of all its members on both the national and international scene and to foster the development of collaborative initiatives. It provides specific support to help SMEs take part in collaborative projects with industry leaders, investors, and research organisations.

Agoranov
Agoranov is a business incubator located in Paris that focuses on three verticals: industry and green tech, digital, and health. It supports innovative start-ups in several ways, including through individual follow-up, accommodation, its acceleration programme, a great community of entrepreneurs, and a strong business, public, and technical ecosystem.

ATLANPOLE

Atlanpole
Atlanpole is the technopole and EU/BIC for the Greater Nantes economic and university area. It plays a key role as an innovation hub within the main multidisciplinary area of innovation in western France. Atlanpole is accredited by the French Ministry of Research as the science-based business incubator for the whole region of Pays de la Loire. As a reference point of contact for the FrenchTech and competitiveness clusters in western France, it fosters the emergence, creation, and development of innovative start-ups and small and medium-sized enterprises.

Euratechnologies

EuraTechnologies
EuraTechnologies is a centre of excellence and innovation located on a 80,000-square-metre premises in Lille. With its unique methodology and expertise, it supports the development of all manner of digital entrepreneurs from their first steps to international deployment. Established in 2009, EuraTechnologies has been ranked among Europe’s top 10 accelerators by Fundacity. It is the precursor and spearhead of the French Tech digital economy, having been responsible for more than 300 companies, 3,700 employees, 300 projects, 500 annual events, and EUR 170 million in fundraising since 2009.

normandie incubation

Normandie Incubation
With three branch offices in Caen, Rouen, and Le Havre, Normandie Incubation hosts start-up creation projects and offers full-time hosting, along with support in securing funding, tailor-made workshops, personalised coaching, and access to entrepreneurs and innovation experts in Normandy.

TBI

Technopôle Brest-Iroise
Technopôle Brest-Iroise aims to support business creation through innovation. It is accredited at both the national (French Network RETIS) and European (EU BIC European Business Network) levels, which proves its ability to support innovative ideas and entrepreneurs. Every year, it supports the creation of 15 to 20 companies. Together with the six other technopoles of Brittany, it manages the regional Emergys incubator, which is accredited by the French Ministry for Education and Research.

Technopole de l'Aube

Technopôle de l’Aube en Champagne
Founded in 1998, Technopole de l’Aube en Champagne seeks to promote innovation through the detection, evaluation, selection, and support of innovative projects. It is accredited at both the national (French Network RETIS) and European (EU BIC European Business Network) levels. More than 66 businesses representing more than 550 jobs are currently hosted at the incubator.
