In the frame of the European Space Week, two major events will take place: the Space Pitches and the festive Space Awards.
First, we will present our rising stars on 7 December (16:00) – all the national Galileo and Copernicus prize winners – in the Space Pitches. Following the success of our effort to go national with Copernicus Masters this year, this brand-new event will give the floor to the 2020’s best innovators. You will have the exclusive opportunity to meet this year’s national winners and watch them introduce their ideas.
On 8 December, the Space Awards will be awarded for the 17th time. High-ranking speakers from the world-class competition partners of the Galileo Masters and Copernicus Masters will honour the most visionary ideas in a special premiere: For the first time in the history of the competitions, the Awards will be held online – for everyone around the globe to join us in celebrating the winners.
Both events will take place as part of European Space Week 2020 – Europe’s biggest event in the space sector. To foster a discussion of the future of space applications and innovation, the event will bring together the space community, non-space innovators, entrepreneurs, and the digital community. European Space Week 2020 is being organised by the European GNSS Agency (GSA) under the auspices of the German Presidency of the Council of the EU, in partnership with the European Commission.
More information will follow soon. To stay updated about the December space highlights pre-register now!
