WeatherLayers is a service that aims to improve the accessibility of weather, atmospheric, maritime, and climate data for common use. It provides customisable, ready-to-use weather visualisation layers with information on factors like wind, temperature or precipitation. WeatherLayers also covers air quality components like carbon particles and other particulate matter and input on ocean variables like waves, currents, or sea surface temperature. This software-as-a-service (SaaS) offers added value in the way it integrates seamlessly with clients’ existing web map applications to allow overlaying with their custom geospatial data. WeatherLayers provides data from the Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring and Marine Service and other global sources, and its onpremise deployment enables integration with high-resolution local providers, as well.
