Data in Use
Satellite Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (InSAR) data

Service summary
PUNNET is a satellite-based land stability monitoring and mapping solution for exploration, construction, and environmental protection industries. It represents a major step forward in land deformation monitoring for sectors such as oil and gas, mining, and exploration. It uses a series of images created from satellite data to create millimetric-precision maps of land surface deformation, thus supporting adherence to regulations and industry standards.

Customer Benefit
Ongoing cost-effective, periodic, almost ubiquitous maps of land cover Baseline surveys for administrative services and planning authorities Identification and monitoring of at-risk sites Information to allay public concerns and support insurance services

The Expertise
«By delivering precise surface movement maps at very high spatial and temporal resolutions, PUNNET provides a strong and innovative technical solution for geohazard monitoring. Its approach perfectly leverages the unique potential of the TerraSAR-X/PAZ constellation and the Sentinel-1 satellites.»
